Our digital isolator portfolio offers products to suit the needs of a wide range of applications including industrial automation, EV’s (electric vehicles), power supplies, PV inverters, and motor control. These products provide robust and reliable isolation capabilities and the best timing specifications along with excellent noise immunity, both from external EM fields as well as common-mode transients. They have been designed for ultra-low EM emissions and support digital CMOS as well as bi-directional I2C data isolation. A simple, reliable alternative to replacing solid-state relays (SSRs) or electromechanical relays (EMRs) when combined with an external, low-cost FET. Si875x devices combine robust CMOS isolation technology with a FET driver to form a complete, isolated switch. The self-contained device generates its own gate drive output voltage, reducing cost, size, and complexity. Si875x devices eliminate the need for bulky mechanical relays and allow self-selection for FET switches, so the design can be completely optimized for the application’s power, cost, and performance requirements.
